Zumba® is a cardio fitness class that incorporates a variety of different music and dance styles from around the world including Salsa, Merengue, Reggae, Axe, Cumbia, Rumba, Samba, Tango, Flamenco, Calypso, Rock’n Roll, Belly Dance, Cha Cha, Bachata, Jive, Jazz, Reggaeton, African, Caribbean, and Hip Hop. Intermittent training maximizes results. High intensity periods push the body to improve (Cardiac output, respiratory capacity, and blood pressure), while medium intensity periods, burn fat and transport lactic acid away from the muscles avoiding cramping and soreness. Clear rhythmic movement and music-based choreography along with visual cuing engage the brain to accelerate the learning process. Most of all, Zumba is FUN. Join the party!
